ਇਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਬੂਢਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਬੇਟੇ ਸਨ। ਇਕ ਬੇਟਾ ਮੇਹਨਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਆਲਸੀ। ਬੂਢਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੇਟਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸਮਝਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੇਟਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਮੇਹਨਤੀ ਬੇਟੇ ਨੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਆਲਸੀ ਬੇਟਾ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੇਹਨਤੀ ਬੇਟੇ ਨੇ ਫਸਲ ਕੱਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ।

Jadon ki aalsi beta aaram karda rihha.
