Gurmukhi Passage:
ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਇਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਬਾਗ਼ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਪੇੜ ਸਨ। ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਇਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਬੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਤੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਤੋੜੋ, ਇਹ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।” ਬੱਚੇ ਨੇ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ।

Once, there was a small garden. - ਉਸ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਪੇੜ ਸਨ।
Us bagh vich kayi tarhan de phul ate ped san.
In that garden, there were many types of flowers and trees. - ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਇਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ।
Ik din ik chhota bacha bagh vich aaya.
One day, a small child came to the garden. - ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਬੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ।
Us ne phulan di khushbu nu mehsoos kitta ate khush hoya.

Us ne phul toran di koshish kitti.

Par us di maa ne us nu rok ditta.
But his mother stopped him. - ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਤੋੜੋ।
Us ne kiha, “Phulan nu na toro.
She said, “Do not pluck the flowers. - ਇਹ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।”
Eh sabh de layi sundarta lay ke aunde han.”
They bring beauty for everyone.” - ਬੱਚੇ ਨੇ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ।

The child understood and enjoyed the flowers.
